The Chatillon® LG and DG Series mechanical force gauges are ideal for tensile or compression force measurement applications up to 100 lbf (50 kgf, 500 N) and 500 lbf (250 kgf, 2500 N) respectively. This unidirectional force gauge has one end dedicated to tensile tests and the other end dedicated to compressive tests. The gauge features a large 2.25-inch dial that measures clockwise only and rotates 360-degrees for taring. A peak hold button for capture of the peak readings and easy return to zero. The LG / DG Series has a force measurement accuracy of better than 0.5% full scale and included mechanical overload protection.

The mechanical force gauge fits naturally in the hand for a comfortable and firm grip, even at maximum loads. It can also be mounted to a test stand for even greater control and consistent results in repetitive testing applications.

The gauge is available in lbf, kgf and N units. The gauge comes with a Certificate of Calibration with NIST data, accessories and carrying case.
